In the 1840's Jesus gave The Holy Face Devotion to Sister Mary of St. Peter.  After her death, a man named, Leo Dupont, practiced this devotion.  And the devotion to The Holy Face of Jesus was credited with 30 years of first class miracles that took place in the home of Leo Dupont.  This devotion was wholeheartedly approved by Pope Leo XIII through the formality of a papal brief.  And Pope Pius IX called Leo Dupont one of the greatest miracle workers in Church History due to the result of him being devoted to The Holy Face of Jesus.
